Wholesale Field Sales Representative - UK North

Rock Fall UK is one of the UK’s fastest growing international manufacturers of PPE footwear, growing organically at 20% YoY, with no signs of slowing! Due to this continued expansion Seekers has been tasked with identifying a new Field Sales Representative to cover wholesale and merchant retailers in the north of the UK.
Territories Covered - North of Birmingham
The Role
- Confidently sell to existing customer base, and work to develop and expand a new distribution network with the sales team.
- Develop and host presentations of the product catalogue to existing and potential distributors to generate new relationships.
- Train, develop and make joint end-user consultative calls working with the distributors
- Provide the best customer service and product guidance on the market, ensuring that you stay up to date with the company’s product range and current market trends.
- Build a strong external network whilst managing and maintaining strong existing relationships to build the customer base.
- Meet deadlines as detailed in an efficient, organised manner.
- Handle any other responsibilities given to you in an efficient and precise manner.
- Head up End-User onsite product promotional events and interact with wearers.
- Head up Distributor trade days, interact and sell products to End-Users on behalf of the Distributor (representing a 70/30 split for Sales and Merchandising).
- Conduct training and well-being programs to Distributors, and End-Users
- Work with Distributors sales teams and conduct site toolbox talks and footwear training
- Help identify new Distributors and opportunities with existing Distributors where possible
Requirements of the role: -
- Sales, merchandising, shop fitting Managers with day-to-day tasks.
- Must have the ability to install and maintain point of sale product displays at Distributors locations with a creative mind to help maximise brand awareness
- Excellent people skills, can work with their own initiative, ability to work in a team.
- Must be located in the Midlands with good access to motorways
- Must have a full UK driving license and a willingness to travel, as this is a national field-based position which will require overnight stays where necessary.

The Ideal Candidate: -
- 3-5 years of experience in sales in a relevant field.
- Knowledge and experience of UK PPE/Wholesale Distributors
- Highly driven and ambitious
- Works with high energy and a can-do attitude
- Willing to lead from the front with a desire to develop a career
- Driven and ambitious individual, with aspirations to progress further
- Effective communicator with a professional personal and digital presence
- Proficiency in the use of computers and CRM systems
- Must be proficient in the English language (both written and verbal)
- Must have a Full UK Driving License
