Overview:
We are now seeking a Quality Engineer responsible for product and installation quality within the UK and EU. The Quality Engineer will improve the customer experience and help grow the business by owning quality inspection, enforcement, and corrective actions for all products and services installed across the UK and EU. The successful candidate will be a driven and independent team player with experience partnering with suppliers, manufactures, and installation crews to guarantee premium quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce a comprehensive quality system with manufacturers and installers throughout the UK and EU.
- Be a contributing member of a global quality team to support our global expansion.
- Regularly perform quality audits of our distribution facilities, manufacturing sites, and installation locations.
- Respond to quality tickets to address any customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Perform first article inspections and enforce quality procedures for all new products.
- Perform incoming and outgoing inspections of production products.
- Perform root cause analysis and create corrective action plans to improve quality and eliminate future cases.
- Clearly communicate quality issues and corrective actions throughout affected departments and leadership teams.
Knowledge & Experience:
- 3+ years in quality management of manufactured goods and/or technical services
- BS Degree in a technical field like engineering or applied sciences
- Ability to work as an independent contributor in a global team
- Self-driven
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows
