Ergodyne, Sales Manager – France
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Sales Manager will develop and execute market strategies for Assigned Territory (defined below), accounts, and targets. This person will manage, and provide Product Familiarization and education for End-user safety professionals in the Assigned Territory and assigned IMR Groups. This person will perform sales and sales administrative tasks and procedures focused on Blue Chip End-users and Channel Partners. As an individual contributor, this person will lead and participate in multi-functional team efforts while understanding and effectively communicating all portions of the business. This person will also participate in and contribute to the success of business events, conferences, trade shows, seminars, and special events. Travel to prospective End-user and Channel Partners' client sites as required to achieve sales goals.
You have already accomplished (required):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or another related field
- 5+ year’s Sales Management or equivalent business experience
- Proficiency using Office Systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
You may have already accomplished (preferred):
- Master’s Degree in Business
- Familiarity using CRM Systems

Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships with blue chip End-users, Channel Partners, and key decision-makers in France
- Manage all phases of the sales process, (subject to the restrictions noted in the Prohibited Activities section below):
- Focus on New Products placement.
- Expand sales within existing End-user accounts and keep track of account activities to respond to new developments and changes.
- Meet or exceed Annual Sales Plan metric.
- Manage Expenses within assigned budget.
- Present Ergodyne products and marketing materials to prospects, groups, conferences or business events.
- Create new business opportunities and develop and execute complex selling strategies to win business:
- Demonstrate strong territory management skills with the ability to network and generate leads, develop sales plans, and manage results effectively:
- Execute sales plans and strategies that reach potential customers within the Assigned Territory and identify new clients with oversight of the RFP deliverable.
- Demonstrate strong selling skills:
- Prospect and qualify leads, identify customer needs, translate risk assessment to benefits, deliver effective solutions/demos, negotiate, and close sales.
- Effectively and successfully execute the Assigned Territory sales plan and meet or exceed the Assigned Territory sales goal established by the VP of Sales including an appropriate product mix of existing / New Products and profit margin.
- Discover and relay competitive intelligence to the Product Management Team by being fluent on all competitors in the Assigned Territory and ensuring the ability to articulate the company’s strengths/value proposition in comparison to competitors’ weaknesses.
- Support the Product Management team’s New Product placement plans and Voice of Customer activities.
- Record and report significant activity, sales pipeline, and status of deals, projects, and opportunities in CRM and monitors weekly.
Prohibited Activities (or what you will NOT do):
- Negotiate or conclude contracts, including translating the language of contracts and explaining/interpreting contract terms
- Oversee warranty claims
- Liaise credit and collections issues
- Provide training beyond soliciting sales
