The Role
As a Territory Sales Representative, you will develop new business by identifying and qualifying potential and existing accounts throughout Georgia. Products include personal protective equipment (PPE), fall protection, and Road/work zone safety products. You must be willing to call on users and use a pull-thru sales approach with safety distributors.
This is a salaried employee position with management and training support to help you rapidly ramp up to full production. Candidates should expect extensive product knowledge training. As a key member of the SSI team, you will sell with the strength and advantage of a company and brand that customers trust and recognize.
Skills and Competencies:
- The ability to engage users and distribution partners daily
- Call on and work with distributors of Safety products, construction and contractor supply, industrial supply and traffic/work zone safety supply, construction companies, contractors, city and state agencies, utilities, Dots, municipalities, industrial and manufacturing facilities to specify the use of our manufacturer's products and pull the sales through distributors.
- Effectively manage daily schedule of new visits, appointments, and overall territory management.
- The ability to meet monthly sales quotas
- Strong ability to network.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of field sales experience with past CRM experience
- Experience using consultative sales techniques to close the sale successfully
- Experience in making a high volume of outside sales calls
- Excellent communication skills
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of personal integrity and professionalism
