The VP of Retail will lead the company sales in the Retail market for the USA. The candidate will develop a strategy that will deliver a path of strong, profitable revenue growth while setting a vision that will build a team to reach the next level of performance with a mindset to build McCue into a major competitive force for the Retail market. This role will drive the successful achievement of this division's financial and strategic goals while growing and fostering a unique culture centred around customer-driven entrepreneurial growth.

In addition to being the industry leader in asset protection, this position will specifically focus on all Canadian market segments.

Key Activities:
- Develop relationships with prospective clients while maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships.
- Develop and implement a strategic customer acquisition and revenue plan to achieve high-growth sales results and ensure alignment with Company goals and objectives.
- Create a well-defined sales plan for each sales team that is designed to meet our targets. Coach, develop and support the Sales Team.
- Create a dynamic prospecting system to develop new customers continually.
- Identify key performance indicators for all key metrics, report on them on an agreed timetable and manage them.
- Conducts monthly business reviews with teams to ensure performance against objectives and to provide coaching, assistance, and motivation to achieve all objectives.
- Keeps current with market supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Travel and visit key accounts and prospects regularly.
- Act as a leader within the company
- Ensure that all our customer-facing teams – inside sales, outside sales, and customer care are operating to clearly defined roles and responsibilities
Core Competencies:
- Sales background with 10+ years’ of experience, including leading a team
- Industry knowledge & experience is required.
- Excellent leadership and sales skills with the ability to inspire, collaborate and influence internal teams.
- Previous experience in the industry and proven insights on growing the sector.
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed growth targets and develop the customer base.
- Strong analytical, collaboration and communication skills
- Agile, responsive, proactive, and collaborative to deliver innovative and quality products to our customers.
- Ability to lead negotiations, including contractual language, with the assistance of legal experts.
- Excellent customer and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated success in defining and launching products or services.

- Travel 40% - 50%
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
